HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)<3
RIOT:

Seeing as I reviewed "Brand New Eyes" I decided to review my favorite Paramore album, "Riot". In my opinion this album has the best Paramore tunes and some catchy rock anthems. Here is a track by track:

  • For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic: I adore this song, its such a powerful opening and sets the genre for the rest of the album. 10/10
  • Thats What You Get: As the fourth and final single released from "Riot" the song is real catchy and you just wanna dance. It is amazing 10/10
  • Hallelujah: This is just another great from Paramore and was the second single from the album. Catchy song 9/10
  • Misery Business: This was the first single and its one of the highlights on the album. It is one of Paramore's biggest hit and I can't get enough of it. 10/10
  • When it Rains: The album slows down with this track and it has great meaning. 10/10
  • Let the Flames Begin: This is my favorite Paramore track not only on the cd but ever, the song has so much power and as soon as it ends I just rewind, it is amazing. I'm surprised it wasn't released as a single. 10/10
  • Miracle: This is a good song but not my favorite on the album but still a cool song 9/10
  • Crushcrushcrush: This was the third single released from the album and is one hell of a song. It has amazing lyrics considering Haley was only a child when she wrote it 10/10
  • We Are Broken: The ballad of the album and it is some ballad it has great meaning and the lyrics are fantastic considering the fact that Paramore do not have many ballads it is a real treat 10/10
  • Fences: Another favourite of mine which mixes acoustic and soft rock to make a great song 10/10
  • Born for This: A great finish to the album and by far a great head banger. Great song in which we can hear the boys sing 10/10
It is obvious to see my feelings towards this album judging by the fact that there is no song with a rating of below 9. This album is a pleasure to listen to and is one of my favorites. Overall I give this album a 9.5/10.

BRAND NEW EYES:

The wait for "Brand New Eyes" seemed to be worth it. When I first heard "Ignorance" it was classic Paramore and it wouldn't take a genius to see that it would be a massive hit. There is no track on the album which I dislike, but there are some flaws. I personally feel it is a more mature and improved album in contrast with "All We Know Is Falling. But it is not as enjoyable as the infamous "Riot". Here is a track by track:

  • Careful: I love this song and it is a strong opening to the tracks to follow. Strong vocals from Haley and as usual perfect and classic Paramore 9/10. This is also being released as the fourth and final single from the album in July.
  • Ignorance: The first single from the album and one of the best songs and highlights of the album. It has a real rock beat and the lyrics are amazing. 10/10.
  • Playing God: This song is ok it has a catchy chorus which is the stand out factor, while the verses are not up to par with Paramore's usual classics.6/10.
  • Brick by Boring Brick: This is another gem and one hell of a catchy song, its the second single released and has all the makings of a number one hit. The lyrics are catchy and you just wanna dance. 10/10.
  • Turn it Off: This song is possibly one of the album's flaws as it just doesn't compare to the rest of the album, its missing something. 6/10.
  • The Only Exception: The third single from the album and it shows a completely different side to Paramore. A romantic ballad with very relaxing acoustics and a great message. 10/10.
  • Looking Up: This is a good song, but it is a track that I would frequently skip as there are much better tracks on the album. Once again Paramore's gift of a catchy chorus. 7/10
  • Where the Lines Overlap: This is great and is the typical soft rock genre, it is a song that tends to be replayed as soon as it ends.
  • Misguided Ghosts: Another amazing slow song, but with some beat it is personally one of my favorites on the cd album as its nice acoustic relaxing and is a break away from the fast beats. The lyrics are great. 10/10
  • All I Wanted: A great power ballad, with great meaning and really shows how amazing and phenomenal Haley's vocals really are. Its truly brill. 10/10
  • Decode: Everyone knows this song as it was written by Haley from her experience reading the saga. Its powerful and a famous song by Paramore and a nice finish to the album. 10/10
Overall I give Paramore's "Brand New Eyes" a 9/10 as the majority of tracks on the album are pretty amazing and the Paramore we all love will always keep the same style. The best songs are Careful, Ignorance, Brick by Boring Brick, The Only Exception and Misguided Ghosts.

Well here goes....

Well after days of hair tearing, mind rattling thinking for this blog. It took me some time but I'm finally here. So after much deliberation I finally came to the conclusion that the love of my life and the blood that runs through my veins is music, why not blog about music. I hope some people decide to read my blogs in the future, but unfortunately now I am too tired. Goodnight.
